Coaching for Community Members

Get connected with one of our Health Coaches

Health coaching provides a supportive, non-judgmental space where community members can explore key areas of their lives to improve, enhance, or achieve meaningful goals. Working collaboratively, the coach and member generate ideas and develop a personalized action plan.

Health Coaches support clients on their journey to better well-being through structured conversations, evidence-based strategies, and gentle accountability. While not a form of talk therapy, health coaching focuses on setting small, achievable SMART goals and building sustainable habits—one step at a time.

Common health coaching topics include improving healthy lifestyle habits such as

Improve stress management

Create healthier meals and snacks

Increase sleep quality

Add more physical movement

Maintain a positive mindset

Discover more joy

What our community says

How it works

Coaching sessions typically last around 30 minutes and are held once a week for approximately four weeks. Extended session lengths or additional sessions can be arranged based on mutual agreement between the coach and community member. Either party may end the coaching relationship at any time, and new coach matches are available upon request.

*Coaching sessions are confidential, except in cases where there is a clear indication of self-harm, harm to others, or when disclosure is required by a court-ordered subpoena. Coaches are not responsible for a client’s behavior or health outcomes. While coaches do not provide advice, they may—with the client’s permission—share evidence-based resources supported by scientific research.

What our community says

Portrait of Jeni Davenport. Health Coaching for Start Ups and NonProfits in San Diego

A warm welcome from Jeni

Community service and helping others have always been core values in my life. From school events and local projects to church missions, I grew up surrounded by opportunities to give back. As I entered adulthood, I struggled to find a way to weave all my passions into a single role where I could create meaningful, large-scale impact. Over the years, I’ve volunteered and worked with numerous nonprofits, witnessing firsthand the incredible power of combining compassionate people with grassroots efforts.

On a more personal level, there was a time when I leaned on the support of community organizations during a difficult chapter in my life. That experience deepened my commitment to service and inspired me to pay it forward. Creating the Connecting Coaches to Communities™ program is my way of giving back—uniting my passions, purpose, and personal journey to help others thrive.

Our Mission

Connecting communities with professionally trained health coaches to create positive, lasting wellbeing throughout the world

The Need

Many people struggle with fatigue, overwhelm, frustration, lack of focus, and unhealthy habits. Unfortunately, our healthcare system often presents additional challenges—such as long wait times, high costs, and limited accessibility—that can make it even harder to get the support they need.

Solution

When trained health and wellness coaches partner with community members who are open to growth, meaningful change becomes possible. Together, they can foster positive shifts in lifestyle habits, mindset, relationships, and personal development—creating lasting impacts in both personal and professional areas of life.
