When Was the Last Time You Actually Felt Rested?

When was the last time you actually felt rested?

Not “slept 7 hours.”
Not “took a weekend off but checked email.”

I mean truly restored. Clear. Creative. Energized.

> CEOs often forget: rest isn’t a luxury. It’s a leadership responsibility <

Because your company pays a price for your exhaustion: slower decisions, reduced vision, and missed opportunities.

The rested CEO is sharper, more creative, and more strategic.

> Your company deserves the best version of you <

It is so hard to unplug. I feel it, too, especially when we are excited about what we do.

Here is the thing: Normalize giving your brain a break and your body time to rest so you are actually on point, clear headed, and confident going into the next week.

Quick Tips:
1) Start with a quick 10 minute walk at strategic points in the day
2) Block off 2-3 hrs/week that taps into your creativity or curiosity side
3) Take a 3 day weekend at least once a month or more
4) Set yourself up for one week breaks every quarter to check in with yourself
Gift yourself with 2 week holidays 1-2 times a year

What would you do if you actually had 48 hours of guilt free time, not related to work?

If that is a stretch, start with 24 hours or 12 hours, what comes up for you?
